The Info-Kin’s software for CKYC turns out to be a boon as it completes the job in a very short time with due precision and accuracy of data. We are a 50 years old stock broking firm having membership of NSE, BSE, and a DP to NSDL. Our management has decided to digitize documents we collect from the clients which require to be preserved for a longer period.
While talking to Kintanbhai of Infokin, we came to know that he not only does a simple scanning job but he himself is a very skilled software developer. Due to the SEBI directive, it was DP’s responsibility to scan every DIS (Delivery Instruction Slip) and save the image by giving it a file name as the slip number. Prepare an index file, zip these images, digitally sign it and upload the entire set to DPM Server. After downloading the digitally signed response file, save the entire set in temper-proof storage. We were looking for some solution to accomplish this task but none were available to our satisfaction. The most time-consuming part of the entire system is to scan each individual DIS and save it by giving the file name as the DIS number. We receive around 250 to 300 DIS in one day. As per the compliance, we have to upload the entire scanned images on the next day. It appears to be a tough task.
Our director Shri Jigen Sharedalal had an idea. He said the software should be such that it scans all DIS at a time and gives each a file name automatically. The software shall in turn create the file to upload it to DPM Server and has a provision to store the response file. We shared this idea with Kintanbhai. Kintanbhai liked the idea and acknowledge that he can design such software. He is very sound with knowledge and down to earth person. He has given us a workaround solution in less than a week. We were up and running with his software just in a few days. It’s one of its kind and unique software. Unique in the sense that no one has such a brilliant idea and only Kintanbhai has the ability to put this novel idea into practice. The task which was going to consume 3 to 4 hours of time, has a manual process and hence is prone to errors got completed in less than 30 minutes. It’s automated and has minimal manual intervention and is error-free.
